GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reservation

It is recommended that anyone wishing to stay at the establishment "Aux Portes du Mont Anis" book in advance and obtain approval from the management. Upon booking, the client must pay the reservation amount via the "Stripe" application on our website or provide a credit card number. The contract is considered concluded once an agreement is reached between the parties. In the event of a rejected credit card, the establishment may cancel the reservation.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card before the arrival date.

The deposit amount varies depending on the length of the stay. A 30% deposit of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking for stays of 9 nights or more (non-refundable), with the balance due on the arrival day (non-refundable).

Payment

Accommodation fees are payable directly via the website BOOKING.COM, Airbnb, or the establishment's site on the reservation day. If there is no advance reservation, payment must be made at the start of the stay upon the client's arrival. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard. Payment can also be made by holiday voucher or cash.

According to Article 2102 of the Civil Code, the client cannot oppose the retention of their luggage if they refuse to pay.

A credit card number will be required as a guarantee. Room rates are established daily. Failure to pay will result in the immediate expulsion of the client, subject to legal action for the payment of their due amount. In case of disputes, jurisdiction will be attributed to the Judge of the Civil Court of Puy en Velay.

If you cannot provide this document, we will be forced to deny your room rental request.

Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is never included in the reservation price. It is applicable in the municipality and payable on-site. Amount for 2024: 5.5% of the rental per adult per night. It must be paid at the end of the stay upon departure.

Reservation Cancellation and Commitment

See conditions on Booking.com, Airbnb, and on our website depending on your type of reservation:

Flexible

  • Travelers can receive a full refund if they cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date. In this case, you will not receive any payment.

  • If they cancel after this period, you will receive a payment corresponding to the total nights stayed in your accommodation, plus an additional night.

Moderate

  • Travelers can receive a full refund if they cancel up to 5 days before the scheduled arrival date. In this case, you will not receive any payment.

  • If they cancel after this period, you will receive a payment corresponding to the total nights stayed in the accommodation, plus an additional night and 50% of the amount for the nights they did not stay.

Firm

  • To receive a full refund, travelers must cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.

  • If a traveler cancels between 7 and 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a payment corresponding to 50% of all reserved nights.

  • If a traveler cancels less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a payment corresponding to all reserved nights.

  • Travelers can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Strict

  • To receive a full refund, travelers must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

  • If a traveler cancels 14 days or more before the scheduled arrival date but not within 48 hours of booking, you will receive a payment corresponding to 50% of all reserved nights.

  • If a traveler cancels between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a payment corresponding to 50% of all reserved nights.

  • If they cancel after this period, you will receive a full payment corresponding to all reserved nights.

Strict Cancellation Policy for Long-Term Stays

  • If you choose these conditions, they will apply to all stays of at least 28 days and will replace your standard cancellation conditions for these stays.

  • To receive a full refund, travelers must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 28 days before the scheduled arrival date.

  • If a traveler cancels after this period, you will receive a payment corresponding to the total nights already stayed, plus the 30 nights following the booking.

  • If the traveler has less than 30 days of reservation remaining at the time of cancellation, you will receive the full payment corresponding to the remaining nights.

Firm Cancellation Policy for Long-Term Stays

  • If you choose these conditions, they will apply to all stays of at least 28 days and will replace your standard cancellation conditions for these stays.

  • To receive a full refund, travelers must cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.

  • If a traveler cancels after this period, you will receive a payment corresponding to all nights stayed in the accommodation, plus 30 additional nights.

  • If the traveler has less than 30 days of reservation remaining at the time of cancellation, you will receive the full payment corresponding to the remaining nights.

  • Non-Refundable Option

Access to Apartments, Check-In, and Check-Out

Upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed with the hotelier, the client cannot demand to occupy the room before 5 PM. A luggage storage service allows clients to leave their luggage at the hotel reception. A credit card imprint will be requested upon arrival.

Upon departure, the client must return the room card. It is forbidden to take any object belonging to the hotel: the client must notify the hotelier if they realize a mistake and return it, failing which the object will be billed to them.

Anyone wishing to stay at the hotel is required to provide their identity and that of their companions.

Children and Extra Beds

  • Baby cots are free of charge (subject to availability).

  • No extra beds are available.

  • Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total reservation amount on the site and must be paid directly to the establishment.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in the establishment, except for guide dogs for the blind, which are admitted free of charge with prior approval from the management.

A pet is under the responsibility of the apartment tenant. It is forbidden to leave it unattended in the room. Any damage, whether intentional or unintentional, must be paid for by the room tenant.

Damage

The client must use the rented property as a responsible person. The apartments provided to our clients are checked, functional, and in good condition. Our clients are invited to immediately report any deficiencies to the reception.

In case of a problem, the client will have to assume civil liability. In case of damage, the establishment reserves the right to charge the client for repair or replacement costs. The same applies to any infractions found after the client's departure; compensation will be charged to the client's card.

The establishment may demand full reimbursement with a penalty and damages ranging from €60 to €3000 for any intentional or unintentional damage to materials, objects, furniture belonging to the establishment.

The establishment may charge a cleaning fee if the room is left in an unacceptable condition (e.g., wine, alcohol, coffee stains, cigarette traces, excrement). In case of damage to floors, walls, bedding, the mattress, all the furniture in the apartment, including kitchen and bathroom appliances, the establishment will demand reimbursement for the damage with a minimum fee of €150 for restoration and loss of ability to re-rent the rooms.

Generally, the client must pay for any damages directly to the establishment. They can contact their insurance (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any intentional or unintentional damage caused during their stay.

All our apartments and the entire establishment, including its exterior, are non-smoking. The establishment reserves the right to charge the client the cost of one night's stay for additional cleaning fees if they smoke in their apartment. If the client continues to smoke inside or outside designated areas, they will be asked to leave the establishment without a refund of the nights.

In case of non-compliance with the establishment's internal regulations (available on-site), the client will be asked to leave the establishment without any refund. The establishment reserves the right to charge for any damage caused in the apartment and common areas upon the client's departure. This amount will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. The establishment will have no obligation to notify the client but can provide an invoice upon request.

Complaint

Any complaint about the quality of services provided must be presented to the management.

​

Forgotten Items

Left or abandoned items are recovered and stored for 1 year. After this date, the items are destroyed. If you wish the establishment to return them to you, the client must notify us. The reservation credit card will be charged for the shipping cost, and the shipping fees will be fully invoiced.

Acceptance of Regulations and Terms of Sale

The internal regulations of the establishment "Aux Portes du Mont Anis" apply to all reservations. Any stay implies acceptance of the specific conditions and internal regulations of the establishment. Non-compliance with the above provisions will result in the immediate termination of the contract.

IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE BY THE CLIENT WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE MANAGEMENT WILL BE OBLIGED TO ASK THE CLIENT TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION OR REFUND.
